We Strive for Our Clients' Success
We are always looking for outstanding solutions to business challenges. We place great emphasis on a trusting collaboration within our team as well as with our customers and partners.
Besides a passion for technology and innovation, working at Valsight also involves a very special, actively lived culture and individual support
We are a team of over 30 enthusiastic, nerdy, outspoken, and close-knit individuals with diverse backgrounds, interests, and passions, even while working remotely.
Not only do we collaborate on creating a fantastic product, but we also enjoy shared activities like (international) company trips, parties, and get-togethers at the billiard table or over drinks in the Schöneberg neighborhood of Berlin. In doing so, we not only share our company values, but also the conviction that talented and motivated people are crucial in successfully shaping our future.
You want to shape topics and projects independently and continue to develop yourself? It's a match - with us, you get the freedom and responsibility to do just that.
We foster an open and transparent culture. In addition to an attractive and above-average salary, we provide regular feedback and allocate a training and development budget. A special focus lies on continuous growth through the Personal Mission Plan, which supports your individual goals.
We have been offering flexible working hours and 30 days of vacation long before Corona. You get to decide whether you prefer working from home or with your colleagues in the office, with shared breaks that include activities like billiards, PS5, or darts.
Yes, we're also tired of hearing about "flat hierarchies" and "hands-on mentality," so let's put it in different words: We want to grow together, take on challenges, improve, and think beyond boundaries. And that can only happen when we have an open and transparent approach with each other, regardless of job titles. We highly value that everyone is heard and seen, with insights into all departments available at any time. We support this through various formats like Ask Me Anything Breakfasts, Company Retros, the monthly Pulse Survey (where team spirit always gets top ratings), and much more.
We are a diverse group that has come together and enjoys spending free time together. In other words: Team building events aren't mandated "from above" at our place; they are desired "from below." So, we love to meet offline on short trips, office parties, or boat trips. But even online, pandemic-induced "Zoom fatigue" can't stop us from having weekly game nights.
We wouldn't be a Berlin tech start-up if we didn't offer you bright, open, and well-connected office spaces in the heart of Berlin (Schöneberg) with individually tailored technical equipment. We don't have a dress code, so come as you are – and feel free to bring your four-legged friend along too.
To ensure you feel comfortable in the office, we always take care of your physical well-being. Besides fresh fruits and cereal for an optimal start to the day, we provide a variety of drinks and snacks upon request.
If you need a visa, we will also support you in this process.
We are always looking for outstanding solutions to business challenges. We place great emphasis on a trusting collaboration within our team as well as with our customers and partners.
Optimizing the status quo is in our DNA. New ideas find open doors with us, even if they contradict current concepts or beliefs.
We encourage and support each other to grow continuously and never lose sight of our common goal. What also doesn't fall short: appreciation, recognition, and celebrating successes together.
Ownership and initiative are firmly rooted in our company. Each individual gladly takes responsibility and acts proactively to address challenges and explore new opportunities.
We recommend sending us a resume. If you don't have one, you can still apply. A comprehensive LinkedIn profile is equally helpful. This information allows us to assess a potential fit. Unfortunately, we cannot consider applications without this information.
After reviewing your resume, we will invite you to a phone interview with someone from our HR team. This will give us the opportunity to get to know each other better and see if we are a good fit for each other.
Depending on the position, you may be asked to complete a task either at home or in our office within a specific time frame.
Next, we will invite you to a personal interview. We recommend that you answer our behavioral interview questions using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). We are also looking forward to hearing your questions. The personal interviews can last between one to three hours, and we will inform you about the duration beforehand.
If everything aligns well until this point (yay!), it's time to meet the team. You'll get to know the people you might be working with and further solidify your impression of Valsight and your potential role here.
