Who we are

Valsight, founded in 2015 out of the Hasso Plattner Institute, has since been working on an innovative SaaS solution that gives the management of large corporations and medium-sized companies the confidence to make the right decisions in a dynamic and complex environment. We enable companies to sustainably optimize central management processes – especially financial planning and forecasting – and let controlling and finance teams look into various alternative futures with the help of scenario simulation.

Companies from a variety of industries – from small and medium-sized enterprises to DAX-listed corporations – are using Valsight have been able to improve their enterprise performance management and increase their efficiency and flexibility.

Team Valsight, that is: Currently a good 30 enthusiastic, nerdy, cheeky people that, despite remote work (our colleagues from abroad have lately been in the office ‘surprisingly’ rarely), are growing together into a team with different backgrounds, interests and passions. We are working together on a fantastic product, while also enjoying billiards games, bake nights, company parties and trips, the daily lunch excursion in the nearby Schöneberg Kiez, Wednesday drinks, and quiz nights and who are: united about our company goals and values.

Our office

Our office is open while we work from home. Up to 10 people can be in our office at the same time while keeping everyone safe.

Home Office
Every employee can work from home thanks to the technical equipment provided and our paperless policy. This ensures that no one has to make their way to and from the office.
Travel Policy

Due to the current situation, we do not travel to customers on-site. This is for the health and safety of our team and our customers.

We are a diverse group of people who like to hang out together from time to time. Meaning: Team-building events are not prescribed “from above” but requested “from below”. And so we enjoy getting together offline on short trips, office parties or boat trips. But even online, the pandemic-related “zoom fatigue” can’t keep us away from weekly game nights.

Our hiring process

Submission of a CV

It is recommended that you submit a resumé or CV. If you don't have a resumé, you can still apply. Simply fill out a brief description of your background, experience (with dates of employment), educational qualifications and skills. A detailed LinkedIn profile will also be accepted. This information is necessary to evaluate the applicants. Applications without this information will not be considered.

Telephone interview

After we look at your resume, you will be invited to a phone interview with someone from our HR team to get to know you better and see if we are a good fit.


You will be asked to complete a task within a specific time frame either at home or at our office.

Face-to-face interview

We recommend that you answer our behavioural interview questions using the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). We are also eager to hear your questions. Face-to-face interviews can last between one and three hours and we will let you know about a time-frame in advance.
